Learn to create inventions that serve those in need at the online “Inclusive Innovation” bootcamp

You can improve your design skills and learn to create a product that serves the needs of the world’s disadvantaged communities at Inclusive Business Accelerator’s online ‘Inclusive Innovation’ boot camp, starting April 4th. You’ll gain access to the expertise of the “empowering people.Network” at Siemens Stiftung and the Engineering for Change community.

Inclusive Innovation explained

Inclusive Innovation is invention and design in tandem with members of the world’s low-income communities. It is a first step toward developing a technology-based business that can have a powerful impact on the world’s poor.

Inclusive Innovation balances financial returns with social progress. The goal is to create wealth and a positive social impact for entrepreneurs, startups, established businesses and consumers alike.

The online boot camp in four modules

The boot camp will include four modules over four weeks. Each consists of videos, reading material and an assignment. Just like a real-world course, you will have the chance to interact with the other participants. And experts will also be on hand and active in the modules to provide feedback on assignments. Each module should require approximately three hours per week, including one hour of online reading.
