The COVID-19 Tele-Education Series provides COVID-19 programming on clinical best practices, oxygen therapy, and health technology management.
The programming uses the Project ECHO model, an educational platform that uses videoconferencing (e.g. Zoom) to connect experts worldwide to clinicians and health-care workers at health facilities seeking additional training.
This product was selected for inclusion in WHO’s 2021 Compendium of Innovative Health Technologies for Low‐Resource Settings.

Design Specifications
To participate in the tele-education series, participants can register online to receive participation details. The live sessions comprise of: (i) A didactic lecture or video presentation from the lead academic partner; (ii) Demonstration videos and/or content quizzes; (iii) Live Q & A period. These sessions are interpreted live, and all recording/materials are shared afterward with participants and posted on the Assist International website, their academic partners’ websites, and YouTube. Participants can also access AI's networking groups via Whatsapp and/or Telegram to ask follow-up questions, share ideas, and crowdsource solutions.
