Ali Ghazvinian

Ali is pursuing his Ph.D. in Architecture/Computational Design at Penn State University. He works in the border of architecture, engineering, and biology. In his current research, he works on converting mycelium-based bio-composites to the architectural context in an interdisciplinary area. He tries to define a comprehensive framework for preparing nature-based materials to be used as an alternative for the traditional masonry materials in an affordable, repeatable, and more sustainable way. He was born in Tehran, Iran, and is now based in State College, PA, US.
