Obiora Odugu

Obiora Odugu is from Nigeria and is currently pursuing his bachelor's in mechanical engineering at the University of Nigeria, Nsukka. His academic project focuses on a "survey of indoor thermal comfort and air quality conditions in typical student residences" within his university. He is the product design lead for the gray2green movement, youth-led climate justice and air quality advocacy movement aimed at mobilizing the collective power of society to mitigate climate change. He is currently working on distributing 500 clean cookstoves to last-mile communities in Nsukka, Nigeria. He is ambitious and driven by the fact that good design is like a truly democratic government- It exists for the people and is essentially done by the people you design for.
