Call for Proposals: Global Digital Health Forum
Global Digital Health Forum 2017
Call for Abstracts for 2017 Global Digital Health Forum is now open!
The Global Digital Health Network announces a call for abstracts for the 4th Annual Global Digital Health Forum, scheduled for December 4-6, 2017 at the JW Marriott Hotel in the heart of Washington, DC.
The theme for this year’s Forum—The Evolving Digital Health Landscape: Progress, Achievements, and Remaining Frontiers—captures the spirit of progress made in the past several years to scale digital health systems and also encourages us to look critically at the continued need for innovation,as well as integration, to improve health outcomes in a changing political landscape.
The Global Digital Health Network Advisory Board is planning a diverse event with engaging sessions to connect government stakeholders, digital health developers, researchers, donors, implementers and field experts from across the globe. The Forum will feature panel presentations, hands-on workshops, poster presentations and the interactive “Appy Hour”. New this year will be TED-style talks, facilitated expert round-table discussions, and digital health labs. Descriptions of the session types can be found in the abstract form.
Qualities the Advisory Board will be looking for include contribution of evidence to the digital health landscape, relevance to the field, and identification of innovative solutions enabling scale. You are encouraged to submit high-quality abstracts that demonstrate any of these critical success factors in global digital health. If you are submitting more than one abstract, please ensure your abstracts are unique and clearly differentiated from one another. We encourage you to work with colleagues within your organizations to streamline your presentation to avoid duplicate organizational submissions.
Click here to submit your proposal. The hard deadline for abstract submission is June 16, 2017.
