The Climate Justice Impact Fund for Africa (CJIFA) has issued an open call for proposals. The fund supports grassroots, community-led climate action across Africa.

CJIFA is now accepting proposals from local organizations that:

  • Work at the community level
  • Are leading transformative climate justice efforts
  • Have struggled to access traditional funding streams
Eligible countries: Burkina Faso, Ethiopia, Kenya, Nigeria, Mozambique, Senegal, Somalia, South Africa, Zambia, Ivory Coast, Gabon, Rwanda, Niger, Cameroon, Malawi, Tunisia, Botswana, Uganda, Gambia, Sierra Leone, Cote D’lvoire, Liberia, Mauritius, Egypt, Tanzania and Morocco.
