From infrastructure renewal and energy systems to digital transformation, industrialisation, and climate resilience, the decisions made today will determine whether Africa builds resilient, inclusive, and competitive systems—or remains constrained by inherited limitations.
NSBE Ghana will host a three day interactive conference which includes Engineering Labs- structured, facilitated system‑design sessions focused on outputs, commitments, and next steps — not talk.
It also has a full education track inclusive of a STEM festival, the Engineering Xperience for secondary schools, and the Innovation Foundry for University students and early career professionals.
Day 1 focuses on “The Systems We Inherit” and a rigorous audit of Africa’s current infrastructure, policy frameworks, and industrial constraints. It includes concurrent tracks on infrastructure, renewable energy, and food systems.
Day 2, entitled “The Systems We Build” will engage attendees in designing the new digital, energy, and urban systems that respond to African realities. Day 2 sessions hold conversations on innovation, digital transformation & emerging tech, and policy.
Finally, the conference concludes on Africa’s Engineering Century and aligning capital, talent, and governance to scale these solutions across the continent.
