The fact that I haven't achieved some of my dreams gives me the zeal to always think beyond my nose to make them a reality. Seeing a mama mboga in Kisumu track her sukari stock by voice in her own language is what drives me.
Voice-first Agentic AI that works offline on low-end smartphones. For sustainable development we need AI that understands local languages (Kiswahili, Dholuo), runs without internet, and autonomously acts on behalf of low-literacy users — tracking stock, sales, credit, and market linkage. That is what Sauti-Duka delivers: accessible AI for SDG 1, 2, 8, 9, 12.
