Project Drawdown is launching the Climate Science Serving America Fellowship, a new program supporting outstanding Ph.D.-level scientists and engineers working on climate solutions. Fellows will join Project Drawdown’s collaborative team to conduct rigorous research, engage stakeholders, and help translate science into real-world climate action.
This full-time, remote fellowship is open to early-career (up to 10 years post-Ph.D.) and mid-career (10–20 years post-Ph.D.) researchers from academia, government, nonprofits, or industry who are advancing science-based climate solutions.
What Fellows Receive
- Competitive salary: $130,000–$160,000, depending on career stage

Fellows will serve as public-facing experts, conduct applied research, contribute to Project Drawdown initiatives, and share their work through publications, media engagement, and public speaking.
Term: One year, with the possibility of renewal for a second year.
Location: 100% remote within the United States.
