I’m inspired by the commitment I’ve seen from so many people to make a positive change and leave the world a little better than they found it. It can be disheartening living in an age where social media amplifies so much hate and negativity, but I find it genuinely inspiring to see people continue to push for meaningful change despite that. Seeing individuals and communities stay committed to sustainability, innovation, and helping others reminds me that progress is still possible, even when it feels difficult.
I think this is a difficult question to answer because, in my opinion, there is no single technology that can solve every problem or create a fully sustainable future. Sustainable development requires continuous collaboration, adaptability, and careful evaluation of community needs, local conditions, and resource availability. More important than any one technology is a shift in mindset. We need to move away from the idea that every problem can be solved with the same universal solution. Instead, I think we need to focus on continuously learning, reassessing our impact, and adapting our approaches as new challenges and information emerge. One article that really shaped my perspective on sustainable development is The Price of Convenience by Aleesha Antony. It explores how convenience driven innovation can sometimes create unintended environmental and social consequences, and it changed the way I think about sustainability and technological progress.
