ParticipantFirst feedback was that the onboarding was non obvious – had to sign up with the Bear Creek provider – navigate around their free trial offer to avoid giving a credit card, then subscribe to the E4C knowledge bases (all three, why would anyone want just one?) and then tried entering question in search bar for resources rather than going back to somewhere else to enter a question.
I’m pretty sure that if I wasn’t a strong supporter of E4C I’d have dropped it at the point where it said USD20/month after 30 days, as the question in my mind was “is this worth the time penalty of the learning curve, for something I know I won’t be paying $20/month for”.

Erin PeifferKeymasterHi Mitra,
Thanks for your assessment. This is really useful feedback. It sounds like there are obstacles that would deter people from using it and it’s helpful to hear about it from your perspective. We are now looking into the changes we can make. Thank you for continuing to register and test the tool in spite of the issues. Yet another reason we are grateful for your support!

ParticipantI would suggest making Claude the default AI rather than Chat GPT – like many I’m trying to move away from Chat GPT given their unquestioned support of the pentagon’s war-crimes, Anthropic aren’t perfect (they still support Palantir) but at least they draw the line somewhere.

Timo MarquezParticipantFeedback on Week 1:
I agree with Mitra’s comments;
– onboarding not very clear
– in regards to model, Claude is gaining more traction and the way it present information is better. Also when dealing with diagrams and charts.– Good to always provide links to E4C pages, maybe to other externals if relevant

VICENTE SUBIELAParticipantVery relevant topic.
As a retired engineer, I am really surprised about the AI tools; imposible to imagine some few years ago.
As Timo and Mitra indicate, Claude is one of the best options (and, as far I know, one of the safest -in terms of user confidentiality- by the way).Certainly, onboarding is uneasy, as any new tool, but you can ask the AI to help you to start and progress.
And finally, the more you know about something, the more applications you can imagine as AI user.
