Leah PutmanKeymasterHello, I’m Leah. As lifelong process and design engineer, I see how AI has the potential to be a valuable part of ESD processes. Designing it to collect necessary data frees technical professionals to synthesize, strategize, and implement ideas with more time to consider the big picture- technical, user, environmental, and social needs. I look forward to exploring and co-creating an AI tool that frees engineers to do more creating and less collecting and number crunching.

Ruchita TandonParticipantHi everyone! I’m Ruchita Tandon. While my work isn’t directly in engineering, I’m looking forward to see what’s possible with AI for engineers who are trying to make this world a better place. How AI can better support engineers working on complex development and sustainability challenges, how these tools can be applied responsibly to support meaningful work and finally in hearing from this community about how others are experimenting with or using AI in their projects.

ParticipantHi – I’m Mitra Ardron – Australia based, lifelong social entrepreneur and innovator, IT trained initially but worked across many SDG related areas – Energy, Green materials, Water, Ag. These days I split my time between mentoring and supporting innovators, mostly in SE Asia, and being lead developer on Frugal IoT (https://github.com/mitra42/frugal-iot/wiki) an open source project to make sensors affordable in resource constrained environments, such as agroecology in LMICs.
Interested in exploring domain specific AIs and long time involved with E4C (since it started).
