Nearly 1 billion people do not have enough to eat, but technological advances are already working to fill some of those stomachs right now. Improvements such as crops modified to contain more vitamins and low-cost irrigation pumps may have the potential to feed the world as our population grows. The US Agency for International Development portrays some of the solutions in this infographic.
