Applications Open for Agri SME Enterprise Support Program

Youth-led and women-led agribusinesses in Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda, Ghana and Nigeria can now apply for the Agri SME Enterprise Support Program.

The program is designed to support high-potential agriculture and agri-food enterprises seeking to strengthen their businesses, improve supply chains, expand market access and create economic opportunities for young people and women.

Selected enterprises will participate in a structured diagnostic to identify business strengths, growth challenges and priority needs. Participating businesses may then receive tailored business development support, including coaching, site visits and other activities.

Eligible enterprises must operate in the agriculture or agri-food sector, demonstrate potential for growth, market expansion and job creation, and work within agricultural value chains, including those involving smallholder producers.

Priority will be given to enterprises working to improve the availability, accessibility or commercial viability of nutritious foods. Businesses that have previously received YEFFA investment are not eligible.

Submitting an application does not guarantee selection. Applications will be reviewed against the program’s eligibility and selection criteria, and shortlisted enterprises will be contacted about the next stage of the assessment process.
