Founder in Residence – Next-Gen Power Plants (Geothermal & Waste Heat)
Marble | Remote (Paris-based optional) | €2,500–€3,000/month + €250k pre-seed
Marble is a climate tech venture studio launching deep-tech companies that tackle climate change at industrial scale. We’re seeking an entrepreneurial engineer to join as a Founder in Residence to help design a new generation of modular, low-cost power plants that convert geothermal and waste heat into clean, firm electricity.
About the Role:
You’ll explore bold solutions to unlock the potential of low-temperature heat sources—like high-efficiency thermal cycles (ORC, sCO₂), modular turbines, digital twins for optimization, and rapid-build plant architectures. Your goal: co-found a climate startup with transformative potential.
Ideal Backgrounds:
Mechanical/process/chemical engineers (thermal systems, power cycles, turbomachinery)
Software/control engineers (digital twins, plant optimization)
Construction/modular infra experts (prefab, rapid deployment)
What’s Offered:
€2,500–€3,000 monthly stipend during the program
€250,000 pre-seed investment if your concept is selected
80% equity retained by founders
Full support: tech research, customer interviews, prototyping, and fundraising
Remote or hybrid (Paris HQ); EU time zones preferred
Visa sponsorship available
