The role centers on designing, analyzing, and integrating precision optomechanical assemblies for spacecraft. The engineer will work closely with optical and spacecraft teams, build prototypes, create production-ready documentation, and perform structural and thermal analyses to ensure high performance in demanding space environments.
Candidates should have at least five years of experience, strong 3D CAD and FEA skills, and a background in optomechanical engineering. Experience in aerospace or other high-reliability sectors is a plus. A U.S. person status is required under ITAR.
