Project Overview
Project Description
This project addresses a critical gap by developing a sustainable, alumni-centered impact measurement framework to evaluate the long-term outcomes of Engineering for Change (E4C)’s Fellowship. It will assess how the fellowship has influenced Fellow Alumni workforce development over time and capture alumni needs that E4C can support. The framework will also establish metrics to inform continuous program improvement and identify additional opportunities to strengthen workforce development and drive transformative initiatives.
The goal of this project is to understand how the E4C Fellowship has impacted past Fellows and capture alumni needs that E4C can potentially support. Specific project work includes: 1) personalized follow-up with alumni to complete alumni surveys, 2) conducting interviews with alumni, 3) synthesizing survey and interview data, and 4) sharing out of the results in a format that supports E4C’s grant reporting and leverages storytelling to communicate the program’s impact.
Impact
In order to assess E4C’s program’s effectiveness towards its goals, the long-term impact for alummi needs to be evaluated. This research will support in identifying where program elements can be improved, and what additional opportunities should be considered to further support workforce development and transformative initiatives. Communicating these results will help E4C secure additional funding and attract future partners to scale impact.
