The Global Prize for Innovation in Water (GPIW) is accepting applications for its 2026 awards, recognizing technologies, approaches, organizations and outcomes addressing challenges across the water sector.
Now in its fourth year, the prize offers $800,000 in awards, including two $100,000 Grand Prizes for early- and mid-stage innovations and 12 $50,000 Impact Medals. Market-ready innovations can also receive Honorable Mention recognition.
Grand Prize winners may receive up to $250,000 in piloting support, along with additional pilot opportunities, global recognition, networking and an invitation to an exclusive event in Saudi Arabia.
Individual innovators, teams, research groups, startups, accelerators and organizations are invited to apply.
