About VICENTE SUBIELA

Born in Spain, interested in social and environmental activities since my first years in university. Graduated in Mech. Eng. in 1993. I started as an intern in the CIRCE R&D center (Zaragoza, Spain), working on CO2 balances and LCA. In 1996 I moved to Gran Canaria Island to work on off grid renewable energy systems and the applications to desalination (more than 10 publications) and participation in many national and international projects (EC cofunded), congresses and conferences. An advanced and unforeseen laryngx cancer in 2014 changed my life; nonetheless, I completed my PhD in optimization of autonomous reverse osmosis desalination systems in 2018. I became personal coach in 2021. Am very active as volunteer in a men gender equility association, among other activities, reading, writing and as an ocassional motivational speaker.
