Engineering for Change’s Impact Projects are how E4C supports organizations working in sustainable development and social impact by helping address their innovation capacity limitations and technical skill gaps – while also fostering the growth of early-career technical professionals.
We support organizations in completing their projects by sourcing, training, and managing high-potential, early-career technical professionals through our flagship E4C Fellowship. Fellows contribute to Impact Projects like yours: targeted, impactful collaborations focused on one of three areas: Design, Research, or Workflows.
Applications for the 2026 program (running May – September) are open until the 15th of November. Organizations that have previously applied are welcome to reapply.
Projects cost $18,000, with cost-share pricing available for organizations entirely founded, headquartered, and operating in Lower, Lower-Middle, or Upper-Middle Income Countries (based on World Bank classification). Need-based scholarships or pro bono support will also be considered, subject to funding availability. We also explore grant application support with select partners.
