Over the 4.5-month fellowship period, the objective is to delve into critical sustainability questions surrounding ucrop.it‘s platform, combining engineering and global development insights.

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Landscape analysis of current sustainability metrics in agriculture, identifying industry standards and gaps.
  • Execute interview-based studies with key stakeholders, including farmers, agricultural experts, corporations and platform users, to gather diverse perspectives.
  • Analyze datasets from ucrop.it, focusing on user data to extract insights regarding sustainability practices.
  • Prioritize and categorize areas for potential impact, considering both direct and indirect effects.
  • Evaluate the evolution of markets based on sustainability. Assess the potential value of anonymous data for users and the platform, proposing strategies to leverage this information responsibly.
  • Propose an evolution of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and benchmarks, aligning them with sustainability goals for ucrop.it, farmers and clients
