Project Overview
Project Description
The Autodesk Foundation seeks to expand and formalize its support for intermediary organizations—accelerators, venture studios, innovation hubs, and impact-investing partners—by helping them more effectively enable their portfolio companies. This E4C Fellowship project will research, analyze, and design a scalable framework for delivering technology resources and talent support to a broader set of intermediaries, ensuring Autodesk’s capabilities have broader, deeper, and more consistent impact.
Fellow Activities
- Analyze Autodesk Foundation’s historical engagement data.
- Benchmark other corporate philanthropy support models.
- Conduct interviews with intermediary staff and portfolio founders across sectors (energy, agtech, water/sanitation, housing, manufacturing).
- Co-design the framework and playbook with Foundation staff.
- If time permits, run a small pilot (1–2 intermediaries) to test components of the support model.
Impact
This E4C Fellow project will enable the Autodesk Foundation to:
- Reach more innovators and early-stage impact ventures at scale
- Ensure that technology and talent resources go where they create the most leverage
- Reduce friction for intermediaries seeking Autodesk support
- Improve quality and consistency of engagements
- Strengthen the Foundation’s reputation as a catalytic technology and innovation partner
This will result in reaching more Health & Resilience beneficiaries, reducing more greenhouse gases, and helping upskill more workers.
