This project will involve developing a comprehensive thesis on the emerging AI for Climate opportunity in India, mapping high-impact use cases across energy, agriculture, manufacturing, and adaptation. This will then be translated into an actionable investment thesis and startup opportunity pipeline for early-stage climate-tech deployment.
Impact
Sangam is a seed and early stage venture fund that invests to improve access to sustainable energy and resource productivity solutions for the underserved in India that can lead to inclusive development and creation of communities that are resilient to climate change.
Eligibility Criteria
Skills / Experience:
- Required:
- Research
- Data Analysis + Statistics
- Financial Analysis / Business Model Development
- Desired:
- Experience in AI/ML, data modelling, GIS, or simulation tools
- Comfortable translating technical innovation into market realities and investability
Discipline:
- A background in core engineering fields/data science/energy studies may be beneficial
