The product is stationary and pedal powered, it requires no electricity to be operated. It is made from used bicycle parts such as pedals, frame, chains and handles. The pedaling system is connected to a cement flywheel to facilitate continuous pedaling and uses sprockets’ diameter relation to vary speed and torque. The system is connected to rope which is lowered down into a well and drawn up through a long pipe with the bottom immersed in water. The rope was round plastic balls which diameter matches the diameter of the pipe, the balls function as a seal that helps pull the water to the surface.
Bici-Tec trains users at the moment of delivering the product on how to give preventive maintenance. If needed Bici-Tec can also do any repairs or additional technical support.Interview with representative
