CycloClean bicycle is comprised of a bicycle that doubles as transportation and water purification. The purification system is made of four filters, a pre-filter and three filters to purify water for drinking – 1 microfiltration membrane filter, 1 hybrid carbon filter, and 1 primary filter. Cycloclean filters dirt, bacteria, and smell from the raw water (rainwater, river, or lake). The system can purify 5 L of raw water in one minute.

CycloClean can produce 5-6 liters of drinking water per minute.
UNIDO states that a unit of this technology can produce 5 liters of clean drinking water per minute from raw water, however, there was no evaluation of microorganism reduction.
Seawater is not appropriate to be used as a water supply.
