The Extech FL700 Fluoride meter is an electrode sensor that directly reads total fluoride ions in water samples from 9.99 ppm or mg/L down to 0.1ppm automatic temperature compensation (±10 degrees C of calibration temperature) in less than one minute. This product is part of the Extech Instruments brand which designs handheld meters and testers for field and laboratory testing. The brand is currently owned and distributed by FLIR Commercial Systems Inc.

Design Specifications

The Extech FL700 Fluoride meter incorporates a sensing electrode, measuring electronics, and display and comes with TISAB reagent tablets, a sensor cap, four 3V button batteries, and a 48? (1.2m) neckstrap. The system requires a 10 mL volume for testing and must be calibrated prior to each new measurement batch or if more than 12 hours has elapsed since last calibrated. See the user’s manual for more specific information. Dimensions of the FL700 fluoride meter are: 36 x 173 x 41 mm. Weight: 210g

Lifecycle

This product includes a limited 1 year warranty. It has a ingress protection rating of IP57 which means it is protected against dust limited ingress and again the effect of immersion in liquid between 15 cm and 1m. Therefore having high durability, users must not exceed 1 m of immersion of this product in liquid. Also, for appropriate maintenance, users must follow the user’s manual.
