The Envirosan 2L Handwashing Unit is a plastic bracket which holds a standard 2L bottle, and includes a self-closing valve.
The 2L hand wash co-polymer bracket fits a standard 2L plastic bottle with a shelf for soap. The plastic bottle is fitted with a self-closing tip tap valve to prevent wasting water.
Manufacturing/Building Method
The hand wash bracket is manufactured with a plastic polymer through plastic injection molding. Currently, Environsan has the capacity to manufacture 2000 units of the EaziTaps used in the EaziWash technology daily. Envirosan complies with globally approved manufacturing techniques, uses approved SABS raw materials, and are entirely recyclable.

Design Specifications
The system was designed to fit a standard 2-Liter plastic bottle, which can be refilled to accommodate local resources. In addition, the soap holder was designed to accept locally available bars of soap rather than liquid alternatives.

The manufacturer sites performance targets related to environmentally friendly and sustainable solutions, cost-effective products, and providing top-quality products to South African customers. EaziWash is designed to deliver 100-150 ml of water continuously for at least 20 seconds. The designer specified performance targets includes: water use efficiency, robustness, durability, ease-of-use for children and cost effectiveness.
