WhereIsMyTransport provides public transport data from emerging cities.
WhereIsMyTransport’s goal is to create a single data platform for public transport across a city and make this accessible to citizens. They make this data available, to partners and researchers, from their open API.
While still available, the Public Transport App for end-users is no longer being actively developed.

Interested partners can contact Whereismytransport here for more information and to setup a contact. Developers can sign up for free API access. Public transit users can download the Public Transport App from the iTunes Store or Google Play Store.
Distributions to Date Status
The public transport app is available in 30 major cities across Africa, the Middle East and Asia. According to the Google Play Store the Public Transport App has been downloaded 5000+ times.
