DHIS 2

Product Description

DHIS2 was developed by the Health Information Systems Program (HISP) and it is supported by the University of Oslo’s Department of Informatics. DHIS2’s main goal is to aggregate statistical data, and perform analysis on health data. The platform features management and presentation tools. DHIS2 can be used to monitor patient health, improve disease surveillance, map disease outbreaks, and enable health data access for health facilities and government organizations.

As of 2020, DHIS2 had been deployed in 72 low and middle-income countries, potentially covering over 2.3 billion people. If considering the implementation of these tools throughout NGO programs, DHIS is used in over 100 countries.
