CERN HEV Ventilator
A pneumatic invasive ventilator designed for emergency use.
The CERN HEV Ventilator was developed in response to the COVID-19 pandemic and is currently undergoing testing. The device features pressure-controlled modes prioritized based on their importance for COVID-19 treatment, including PC-A/C mode, PC-A/C-PRVC mode, PC-PSV mode, and CPAP. An integrated controls system is powered by 119-230 VAC and a touch screen interface. This product has not yet undergone testing as of 2020.
This product was selected for inclusion in WHO’s 2021 Compendium of Innovative Health Technologies for Low‐Resource Settings.

Is the air source external or internal? If internal, what technology is used to provide the air source? Does the ventilator have O2 low pressure capability?
