Echo Mobile operates and develops a scalable cloud-based mobile-first communication and management information platform.
The Echo Platform leverages an increasingly rich array of mobile channels, including toll free SMS, Interactive Voice Response (IVR), Unstructured Supplementary Service Data (USSD), as well as smartphone apps, social media and sensor based data collection.
Its objective is to allow organizations of any size to extend their reach and give voice to markets and communities worldwide. The current user list includes the World Bank, UNICEF, UNDP, UC Berkley, Aga khan Foundation, Ipsos and Africa’s Voices.

To use the Echo platform, three different plans are available, one of which comes without a monthly subscription fee and works on a pay-as-you-go basis. Postpaid plans start at US$60 and cover among other things prioritized customer support.
