The TINYTECH Biogas portable system is a small-scale biogas plant developed by TINYTECH for converting household organic waste into methane rich gas. The biodigester is made of fibre-reinforced plastic for durability and longevity. The TINYTECH biodigester is no longer in production as of July 2016.

Design Specifications

The TINYTECH Portable Biogas Plant consists of a 1,170 L fermenter tank and a 800 L tank containing gas. Both tanks are made of fiberglass reinforced plastic. The dimensions are 150 cm in diameter and 210 cm in height. The unit weighs 60 kg, and the ratio of 10 L water to 2 kg of organic material is used.

Safety

There are some dangers associated with biogas digesters such as fire hazards, leaks and negative pressures. However as this is a small, family size system the hazards are also reduced.
