Tryctor is a mini tractor in Nigeria based on a motorcycle design carrying out several farming operations and capable of being used as a generator.
Tryctor is a mini tractor based on a motorcycle design i.e. with 3 wheels using locally available parts. Using various implements, the Tryctor is designed to carry out several farming operations similar to a conventional tractor, but to a smaller scale. It also provides a useful means of transportation to convey produce. It was developed in collaboration with the National Centre for Agricultural Mechanization or NCAM.

Small scale crop farmers in Nigeria
This product is currently being tested and built individually. There have been seven working prototypes made. It is manufactured in Nigeria and 70% of its components and parts are locally sources.
This product is provided directly from manufacturer. They also target farming cooperatives that normally have a better buying power than single farmers.
7 prototypes have been distributed.
Tryctor is a 3-wheel mini tractor based on a motorcycle design, supplied with a disc plough, cultivator & trailer and a tine which performs similarly as a conventional tractor but to a smaller scale. It holds a 30 hp diesel engine, acts as a generator for an alternative source of power and has an irrigation pump.
Schematics have not been made publicly available.
Support is provided by the manufacturer as the product is under field testing.
